As part of the Desert Architecture MENA Forum, taking place on 30–31 March 2026 in Dubai, the Desert Architecture Recognition Awards taking place on 31st March will honor the pioneers, innovators, and organizations redefining design excellence in arid environments.
From sustainable masterplans and adaptive reuse projects to cutting-edge façade innovations and climate-responsive materials, the Awards celebrate creativity, resilience, and forward-thinking design shaping the built environment across desert regions.
The initiative aims to highlight the region’s architectural leadership, showcase innovative approaches to sustainability and cultural identity, and inspire the next generation of architects and planners committed to building a smarter, greener, and more livable desert future.
Architectural firms, consultants, developers, government entities, academic institutions, and design professionals across the MENA region involved in desert or arid-climate projects.
To celebrate the region’s architectural excellence, the Recognition Awards will conclude with an exclusive Reception Dinner on 31 March 2026.
